The Trump administration may have just taken a step that, no matter what the legal outcome, could change the way Americans view the last decade of political warfare in Washington.
According to a bombshell report from Just the News, FBI Director Kash Patel has greenlit a sweeping new investigation targeting what officials are calling a “grand conspiracy” — one that allegedly spans more than ten years and involves high-ranking Democrats, intelligence operatives, and deep state insiders. At the center of it all? A concerted effort to sabotage President Donald Trump.
This probe isn’t limited to one scandal — it connects the dots between Hillary Clinton’s email debacle, the Russia collusion hoax, and Special Counsel Jack Smith’s controversial investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents. The question at the heart of the inquiry: Did a criminal network within the government and political elite work to influence U.S. elections in favor of Democrats — and against Donald Trump?
And according to the latest revelations, the answer may be yes.
A Plot That Began in 2015 — From the GOP Itself
Ironically, this alleged conspiracy didn’t begin with the Democrats. As The New York Times previously reported, Republican billionaire Paul Singer initially funded Fusion GPS to conduct opposition research against Trump during the 2016 GOP primary.
When Trump clinched the nomination, Singer pulled out — but Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the DNC stepped in, repurposing Fusion GPS to compile what would later become the infamous, discredited Steele Dossier — the backbone of the Russia collusion narrative.
In essence, the entire anti-Trump machine may have been built on a lie. And now, the Trump administration is determined to expose it.
Will Trump Declassify the Smoking Guns?
The new investigation hinges on two critical “tranches” of evidence that remain classified — and only Trump himself can authorize their release. One tranche reportedly relates to Clinton’s private email server. The other, dubbed “Clinton plan intelligence” by former Special Counsel John Durham, could potentially expose the origins of the Russia hoax.
If declassified and brought before a grand jury, these documents could finally reveal how federal agencies allegedly ignored evidence that damaged Democrats while relentlessly pursuing Trump on shaky grounds.
There’s even speculation that this could lead to grand juries outside the political stronghold of Washington, D.C. — with Florida emerging as a possible venue.
