Upon landing in Dallas, as passengers disembarked, Karen saw Michael standing near the gate, speaking with a group of NorthStar executives. Summoning her courage, she approached him, her heart pounding.
“Mr. Johnson,” she began, her voice trembling slightly. “I owe you an apology. I’m deeply sorry for my words and actions earlier. It was uncalled for and disrespectful.”
Michael paused, offering Karen a gentle smile. “Thank you for saying that,” he replied. “We all have our moments. What matters is how we move forward.”
