If you lose weight quickly, your skin doesn’t shrink down to your body’s new size but becomes loose instead. And that’s what happened to Jacqueline. As she lost weight, her skin became looser and looser.
At first, Jacqueline worried about how the excess skin looked on her body, and especially her legs. But she decided she wouldn’t let it hold her back, and she kept living her life as usual.
After losing so much weight, Jacqueline finally felt comfortable wearing a bathing suit during vacation for the first time in a very long time.
But when she went to the hotel pool, Jacqueline accidentally ran into some bullies. A couple at the pool started laughing at her legs and pointing.
Jacqueline later wrote a powerful post on Instagram about the event and included some close-ups of her legs, writing, “It does not matter what others say. That’s ok. Love your body.”
Her post has received more than 30,000 likes and tons of encouraging comments in just a short time. I hope Jacqueline’s bullies read it, because it would silence them and they’d realize how wrong their behavior was. Read this!
