Nearly 800 illegal aliens arrested during ‘tidal wave’ operation across single southern red state

In a sweeping immigration crackdown, nearly 800 illegal immigrants — including convicted murderers, suspected gang members, and fugitives flagged by Interpol — were arrested across Florida during the first four days of Operation Tidal Wave, a joint effort led by ICE Miami and Florida law enforcement agencies.

Fox News obtained exclusive details about the high-profile arrests, which include some of the most dangerous criminal elements among illegal entrants.

Who Was Caught?

Among those arrested:

Jose Sanchez Reyes, a Colombian national convicted of homicide in his home country, who illegally entered the U.S. while fleeing justice.

Rafael Juarex Cabrera, a Guatemalan national and alleged MS-13 gang member, apprehended after illegally reentering the U.S. for the third time. He already has a felony reentry conviction.

Savva Klishchevskii, a Russian illegal immigrant wanted for vehicular manslaughter, with an active Interpol Red Notice issued from Russia.

Aron Isaak Morazan-Izaguirre, a Honduran national and known or suspected member of the violent 18th Street gang, who has illegally crossed into the U.S. twice.

ICE agents, working in tandem with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and local police, executed targeted operations throughout the state to dismantle threats to public safety.

A Surge of Enforcement Under Trump’s Agenda

Operation Tidal Wave is the latest move to strengthen President Donald Trump’s aggressive mass deportation agenda, with Florida officials vowing continued cooperation with federal immigration authorities.

In a statement posted to X (formerly Twitter), ICE praised the collaborative effort:
“We appreciate our DHS partners’ commitment to public safety,” the agency wrote, emphasizing the operation’s success so far.

Wider Fallout: Judges Arrested for Allegedly Shielding Illegal Immigrants

The crackdown comes amid another bombshell: two judges were arrested this week for allegedly obstructing immigration enforcement efforts.

Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan faces charges of obstructing an official proceeding and concealing a migrant to prevent their arrest.

Former New Mexico Magistrate Judge Joel Cano and his wife, Nancy Cano, were charged with tampering with evidence, accused of harboring Cristhian Ortega-Lopez, a member of Venezuela’s violent Tren de Aragua gang.

Authorities claim the Canos actively tried to shield Ortega-Lopez from deportation, escalating concerns about the extent of resistance to immigration enforcement in the U.S.

The Operation Continues

As Operation Tidal Wave remains active, officials warn that more arrests are likely in the coming weeks as ICE continues to target criminal fugitives and gang affiliates hiding within Florida communities.

“Public safety is paramount, and these partnerships are essential to restoring law and order,” an ICE spokesperson said.
