“I need to take legal action,” I said firmly, a resolve strengthening within me. “Not just to reclaim my home, but to ensure this never happens again.”

Samuel nodded, his mind already working through the legal labyrinth. “We have options,” he assured. “Your name is still on the deed. The house is legally yours. We can file for an eviction notice if need be.”

But I wanted more than that. I wanted to send a message, one that echoed through the corridors of my legacy. “I want to restructure the trust,” I declared. “Kevin’s access to the family assets needs to be reassessed. If they think they can waltz in and take over, they are sorely mistaken.”
