Demi Moore gave an update on Bruce Willis’ health while accepting the Career Achievement in Acting Award at the 2024 Hamptons International Film Festival on October 13. The 61-year-old actress said her ex-husband, 69, remains “stable” as he battles frontotemporal dementia (FTD), following his earlier aphasia diagnosis.
Moore emphasized acceptance, noting, “The disease is what the disease is, and you have to deeply accept that,” adding that there is beauty in focusing on the present. She shared she had recently visited Willis with her granddaughter, Louetta, highlighting the importance of cherishing every moment: “Being able to share with whatever we have, for however long we have it.”
Moore and Willis share three daughters—Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Reflecting on her career during the festival, Moore expressed gratitude for the many opportunities she has had, saying, “It feels like lifetimes…Thank God I kept getting opportunities to get better.”
